Asian Fusion Groomer

Groomickey is a brand-new luxury dog grooming business specializing in Asian Fusion Grooming styles for Toy Breeds. Located in a brand-new state of the art facility in Venice, California we provide top notch pampering for our client’s furry companions. We are seeking skilled and passionate experienced specialty groomers who are capable of providing Asian Fusion Grooming to our clientele.

Overview: As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our furry clients. If you have the skills required for this precision work and a love for animals and possess excellent grooming skills, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

– You will be assigned to out Asian Fusion Grooming Pet Styling Stations.
-Coat Prep: Fully prep a wool coat ready to complete an Asian Fusion Teddy Style Trim; including bathing and fluff drying.
-Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets’ fur according to client preferences and breed standards
– Safely handle and restrain animals during grooming sessions
– Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment
– Monitor the health and well-being of pets during grooming sessions
– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction
– Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommend appropriate products for at-home care
– Maintain a clean and organized grooming area

Requirements:

– Must submit a verifiable portfolio of work that demonstrates excellence in creating iconic Asian Fusion features, including a round head, perfect oval muzzles, close clipped body, column legs, carrot tail and teddy ears all which must be applied across various grooming styles and pet breeds.
– Must have experience using specialty tools such as 7” Chunkers, Blenders (Shark-Tooth) and Solid Blades. 7.5” Extreme Curved Scissors for Flare Making and 6.5” Curved Chunkers for Muzzle-Making.
– Must perform grooming with perfect Balance, Symmetry and Proportion
– Strong knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
– Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques
– Knowledge of basic veterinary care is a + (e.g., recognizing signs of illness or injury)
– Experience working in a kennel or veterinary assistant role is beneficial
